Below is explanation of the new features and important information about the naming convention change for our next generation 3M™ Automotive Window Films Crystalline™ Series CR BLK.

In our continuous effort to enhance clarity and ease of use for our customers and installers, we have updated the names of our tint levels. Product names for the new Crystalline Series CR BLK film will match the film’s net Visible Light Transmission (VLT) on standard automotive green glass. In contrast, the naming of legacy Crystalline Series CR aligned to the VLT percent on clear glass. This change ensures the product naming of our tints directly corresponds with the net VLT percent on the vehicle window, streamlining the selection process. The new tint naming makes it easier for you and your customers to determine if the product meets local regulations on tint levels. Rest assured that we’re delivering the same great heat rejection just with a new, easier to understand name.
